Myanmar opposition group claims drone attack in capital

An alliance of groups opposed to Myanmar’s military rule said Thursday they targeted two military installations in a drone attack in the capital, Naypyitaw.

The National Unity Government said in a statement the targets included military headquarters and an airbase.

Agence France-Presse cited a statement from the junta saying it shot down seven drones.

There was no immediate independent report on any damage or casualties.
